Drove Nursery
The first steps in education are important for every child. At Drove Nursery, we introduce children to the world of education through fun and engaging activities. We focus on the individual needs of each child and help them to develop the foundational skills that are so crucial in early years learning.
Our nursery is located on the site of our wonderful primary school, which ensures young children become familiar with the atmosphere of a school and spending time near older children. We’ve found this to be highly beneficial for children who progress from our nursery to our primary school, as they settle in quickly to familiar surroundings.
The Drove Nursery provision is available for funded 2- to 4-year-olds and provided by a team of experienced carers and educators. Our nursery is open Monday to Friday, with morning sessions between 08:30am and 11:30am and afternoon sessions between 12:30pm and 15:30pm.
With development at the heart of our nursery provision, we follow the Early Years Foundation Stage (EYFS) curriculum that focuses on inclusivity, growth, and furthering the foundational skills that every child needs.
Funding for Children
2 Year Old Children
At Drove Nursery, we are delighted to be able to offer free education and childcare for funded 2-year-olds. We only offer 15 hours funded places. The sessions are:
- Morning Sessions: 08:30am-11:30am
- Afternoon Sessions: 12:30pm-15:30pm
The funding is provided by the government. To secure the funding for your child, visit the government website by clicking the relevant button below.
If you are interested in your 2-year-old child attending our nursery, please call the Nursery office on: 01793818600 between Monday to Thursday 08:30am to 15:45pm. We will be more than happy to discuss your child’s eligibility. Alternatively, please fill in the 2-year-old admission form in the link below or in the Nursery office.
All children are eligible for 30 hours free childcare, the term after they turn 3. At Drove Nursery, we only offer 15 hours funded places. The sessions are:
- Morning Sessions: 08:30am-11:30am
- Afternoon Sessions: 12:30pm-15:30pm
